The history of Yerevan is familiar to the world since Erebuni fortress has been built, but we shall not be mistaken if we say the written history of Yerevan begins from Erebuni fortress as in modern Yerevan territory the traces of civilization are attributed to earlier period.

The written history of Yerevan begins from Erebuni fortress.
Erebuni has been the main fortress city of Urartian (Ararat) Kingdom.
It was built by king Argishti in 782 BC and written cunieform protocol was left about him.
Erebuni Museum has been built at the foot of the hill, which exhibits the full layout of the castle exhibits raised during excavations,various educational and cultural events are organized here.
Teishebainin Urartian (Ararat) other Kingdom has been the other powerful cities that was built in modern Yerevan territory.
Teishebaini was built in 685-645 BC by the king Rusia the 2nd.
The fortress was destroyed by the fire thst flashed during the enemy attack.
