Yereruyk Temple

Yereruyk Temple is an architectural masterpiece of the early Middle Ages.

The temple was built in the fourth and fifth centuries on the site of the pagan temlple.

Even the ruins are gorgeous and it is possible to imagine what the temple looked like when it stood only with the help of imagination or reconstructions.

Near the temple there are remains of interesting buildings as well as mysterious depressions in the bowels.

The temple is located on the territory of the border village of Anipemza in the Shirak region
