Minas Avetisyan is one of the most prominent figures of Armenian fine art. His works define the mood of the Armenian Highlands with the help of color and warmth.

The Minas House Museum was opened in 1982 in his native village of Djajur, which is adjacent to the city of Gyumri.

During the 1988 Spitak earthquake, the building was destroyed, and in 2013 it reopened in a new form. The museum's exposition includes more than 30 paintings.

This is the largest collection of Minas in one place. The museum presents paintings of his work, photographs with family members of famous figures, personal belongings, decorations that he made for presentations.
