Ashtarak city

Ashtarak is one of the oldest settlements in Armenia and one of the most interesting cities in Armenia today. 

A person has been living here since the Stone Age and has lived and acted incessantly during the time of the Urartian Kingdom, in the early Middle Ages and to this day.

Here, in a small space, there are many attractions that relate to religious, noble and various spheres of life in the world.

Ashtarak has churches, museums, guest houses engaged in the production of wine.

Ashtarak is located on the banks of the Kasakh river.

It is rich in cuisine, distinguished by local traditions.
